Super food by fra the best i have had here
Budget friendly bistro in town
Bad quality food
Very tasty with a good price-performance ratio! Decent portions. I will come back!
Always tasty, also to go. Portions are big for the price. Boss not very talkative but no problem. Dishes very fresh and healthy. Vegan friendly ?? Recommended.
Insufficiently seasoned food. Not my taste, but friendly staff, nice restaurant.
One of my favorite places - interesting, colorful decor that seems to change ever so slightly between visits and delicious, no-frills food for cheap. I usually go for the vegetarian chu mog (#7b, better than the non-veg option) - make sure you find the chili oil & soy sauce (usually on the table).
Service was very delayed. Food was okay.
Small fine restaurant. Unfortunately no outside area but inside there is a nice Tibetan ambience. It appears to be a small family business and everyone was very friendly. We ordered two classic Tibetan dishes and the two of us were very full of them. Overall recommendable if you want to try a different Asian cuisine.
Was super delicious, nice atmosphere.
Small but nice menu. All dishes are also available in a vegetarian version, all very tasty and the noodles are still pulled by hand. Great, small, family run takeout.
Small bistro, with very tasty dishes at fair prices.
Super delicious food! The consistency of the momos are perfect, addictive! Great little family business :)
Strong and authentic food and nice service.
The food is good. It doesn't blow my mind, but it gets 3.5 out of 5 points. This may also be because Tibetan may not be my favorite cuisine. But now and then I will go there again. P.S. please work on the salad dressing. There is much more.
try the momos!
Open for take away despite Corona Super delicious authentic Tibetan cuisine. A little vacation in Asia in Ostend.
Favorite food - I go there as often as possible and I'm always excited about the delicious and fresh preparation! I also think it's great that you can pick up food.
I love it there. If I lived in Frankfurt I would go there very often :) Price is great for the positions and it just tastes very delicious
It used to be really good but recently the quality of food has dropped. The fried dumplings were slightly burnt. The momos we ordered were overcooked and were very mushy in texture. They looked like that had been squashed or dropped, which became more evident when we saw what was served to other tables. Disappointing. On a positive note, the spiced milk drink is lovely.
Simple location, but sensational traditional food! We are convinced and will repeat offenders !! Keep it up!
Great place to eat dumplings. Friendly staff and amazing dumplings.
Small but very cozy and delicious food. The Thukpa with the soup is the best one for the winter. Healthy and yummy as well. Don't pass through without trying it. Love it!! Definitely will come back.
Great food. Loved the ambiance. Friend staff.
The food is simple but tasty. I will recommend the restaurant. Gladly again!
very good environment !!
Simply delicious, authentic and fair prices. Mampf
Comfy restaurant. The so called Momos tasted really good. I recommend dipping them in vinegar. The staff was also very friendly and polite. Glad we came by early. Other tables were already booked.
The food is delicious and it is quite fast to eat on the table. It is also nice that you can eat here with chopsticks.
Been there a lot of times, I do not miss Momos from my hometown anymore.
I never grade badly but i dont understand such a good rating number. The food (at least my plate) was really really average and dry, i asked for a 7€ plate, and they brought me another one (vegetarian, 6€). I didnt say anything as it was ok. I asked for water and got served the biggest glass of water. They didnt asked me what quantity i wanted, gave me the biggest and then discovered by myself it was charged (2,60...) On the bill, they also forgot to correct the price after mistaking plates. I know it’s not that much money involved but one can feel a little fooled or tricked in the end. Perhaps they saw i was a foreigner i dont know. Anyway it’s just a matter of honesty.
Service was good. Dumplings were decent, but with too thick wrapping. I liked the simplicity of the menu. Better to do a dozen options very well rather and fill the menu with a hundred items. Kudos.
It's a good place :)
Unfortunately I wasn't impressed with the place at all. The dumplings are really bad and undercooked, the water came already in the glass so we don't know where it came from, the stir fry noodles tasted nice but very dry and the ramen soup was okay, the noodles were very undercooked. It was very cheap though.
Quite decent food, quick service, very reasonable prices
This is the most overrated place I have ever been to. Most of the foods are bland and boring. The noodle is really tough and way undercooked, but unlike udon, they are hard to chew. This is a very first time I cannot finish a bowl of noodle because eating them is too tiring. The sauce or soup of the noodle dishes are bland and boring. The topping is lackluster too. The only plus side is that the vegetable seems fresh comparing to other imbiss. The boiled dumplings are also messed up big time. The skin is way to thick that it is not cooked properly. The outer part looks like it has melted down but the inner part is still raw. The filling is little and uninspired as well. The only saving grace is the fried dumplings which only tastes ok, not anything special. For the price, I guess it is on a lower end so I don't expect much but at least the food should be edible, not undercooked. The shop seems naturally crowded but it is because each table has to wait like 30 mins for the food to come.
Can't comment on the food or even drinks. But I sat here for 14 minutes and was ignored, while there was a table of two in the entire restaurant apart from me. Servers working out to Britney Spears power music in the kitchen....
Superlecker
We visited this on Saturday at peak hours. It was empty. No one was there except unfriendly owner. Did not even smile or talk. Still we ordered food as we have seen its rating and reviews were good. But our food momos n noodles both were tasteless , raw, half cooked. Did not like it at all. Worst ! We asked owner for hot sauce he said he don’t have... how come a restaurant do not have any good sauce to give , find it hard to believe. We said its not good n we need something , but he did not gave any response or cared. Not worth going there. Hated it!
Highly Recommended!!! Everything is homemade and tastes great. The quality is also top class! A real insider tip if you do not live just around the corner and already know it.
Very good authentic food! For Frankfurt the prices are quite good as well.
Delicious! It was our first time trying Tibetan food. The have a vegan/vegetarian option for every dish!!! . Great quality/price :)
Unhygienisch
Super delicious, totally nice family, fair prices, gladly again. The dish in the picture is number 8 :)
Best dumplings and hot sauce you can get!
Excellent food, friendly, small, family run noodle spot.
Really enjoyed the food in this cute little restaurant. We tried a soup with dumplings and a noodle dish, both were really delicious. Planning to go back to try the momos.
a quite place with good food and too many hipsters.
Momos at its finest. The restaurant is very small but serves original Tibetan cuisine for a small price. A real insider tip in the immediate vicinity of the Frankfurt Zoo.
A very nice, quite and cozy place. The food was delicious and interesting - not just standard dishes for Europeans you get at every Asian restaurant. The stuff was very friendly too.
